Meaning
The weaker, dependent party in a relationship or deal — the one with less power or leverage. Originally a legal term (Party B), now used in everyday Korean to describe anyone in a disadvantaged position.
Always contrasted with 갑, the dominant party.
Example
“Stop being 을 and stand your ground.”
