탈덕

The act of quitting a fandom — stepping away from an artist, group, or franchise you were once obsessed with. From 탈 (exit/leave) + 덕 (fan, shortened from 덕후). Can be dramatic or quiet, but always feels like the end of an era.

탈 = exit, leave

덕 = fan, otaku (shortened from '덕'후)
